This is the last Will and Testament of me Ann Edwards of Willow Street, Oswestry in the County of Salop being of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare in manner and form following (that is to say) I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be fully paid and satisfied In the next place I give and bequeath to my Niece Ann Thomas the sum of one hundred pounds £100 Also to my Niece Catherine Jones (alias Catherine Thomas) the sum of sixty pounds £60 And to my Niece Mary Davies (alias Mary Thomas) the sum of nineteen pounds £19 Also I give and bequeath to my Nephew John Thomas the sum of one hundred pounds £100 and my silver watch Also I give and bequeath the sum of ten pounds £10 towards repairing Craighryn Chapel belonging to the Calvinistic Methodist Connexion And I give and bequeath the sum of seventy pounds £70 to my Brother in Law John Thomas Tyn y ffynon in the Parish of Oswestry in the County of Salop also my Welsh Bible Also all my household goods and furniture wearing apparel I give and bequeath to my Niece the said Ann Thomas (except my Brown gown which I give and bequeath to my Niece the said Catherine Jones and any fflannel shawl which I give and bequeath to my Niece the said Mary Davies) which I shall be entitled to or possessed of at the time of my decease And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint John Thomas Tyn y ffynon and John Lloyd Pentrelofn sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have to this my Will contained in one sheet of paper put my hand & seal this third day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty nine 1849 _ Ann Edwards
