In the name of God Amen I Gertrude Dowding of Kington Magna in the County of Dorsett Widow being of a sound mind and understanding do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) ffirst I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named and as .....ing the disposition of all my Temporall Estate I give dispose and devise thereof as followeth Imprimis I will that my debts and funerall charges shall be first paid and discharged Item I give and devise to my Brother George Parsons of Churton in the parish of Horsington in the County of Somersett Yeoman All and singular my ffreehold Lands and Lands of Inheritance situate lying and being in Kington Magna aforesaid and elsewhere in the County of Dorsett aforesaid together with their and every of their rights ....... and appurtenances to hold to him his heirs and assigns forever Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Parsons of Wincalton in the said County of Somerset Widow the sum of Ten pounds Item I give and bequeath unto my servant Mary Andrews five pounds to be paid her by my executor within one year after my decease All the rest and residue of my goods chattles and personall Estate whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my Loving Brother George Parsons whom I do hereby make and appoint full and whole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke disannull and make void all former Wills and Testaments by me heretobefore made either by Word of Mouth or in Writing In Witness .. whereof I the said Gertrude Dowding to this my last Will and Testament have sett my hand and seal this fourth day of March in the year of our Lord God 1719 Gertrude Dowding her mark
