In the Name of God Amen the seventh day of December Anno Domini 1716 I Margery Dovey of the Parish of St Sepulchres London Widow being indisposed in my health but of sound and perfect Mind and Memory (thanks be to God for the same) Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament And first and principally I commit and commend my Soul into the mercyfull hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping assuredly  in and through the Meritts of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to Inherite Eternall Life And my Body to the Earth to be decently Interred by my Executor hereafter named And as for that Worldly estate wherewith it please God to bless me I dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving Son Joseph Dovey the sume of ffive pounds to buy him mourning Item all the rest and residue of my Estate whatsopever both Reall and Personall I hereby give Devise and bequeath unto my dear and loving Son in Law Phillip Deming And doe hereby make Ordain constitute and appoint him my said Son in Law Phillip Deming to be my Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament Hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any tyme heretofore made and publishing and declaring this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof unto this my Will being written upon one Sheete of paper I have put my hand and Seale the day and yeare first above written The marke of Margery Dovey/ Signed Sealed and published by the said Margery Dovey as her last Will and Testament in the Presence of_ Thoms Marham John Wood     Proved 20 September 1717   PCC
