In the Name of God Amen I the Reverend THOMAS
DOCKERAY of Snape in the parish of Well in the County of York clerk
do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner following that is
to say I give and bequeath unto my dear wife ANN all my money and
securities for money and other personal estate and effects
whatsoever and wheresoever upon Trust and condition that she pay or
cause to be paid to my friends THOMAS DENNIS PEACOCK of Bedale in
the County of York solicitor, WILLIAM HARKER the younger of Aiskew
in the parish of Bedale gentleman and JOHN BURTON of Bedale grocer
within the space of six calendar months after my decease the sum of
£400 to be applied by them to the education and maintenance of my
four children ANN JULIANA THOMAS and WILLIAM as they respectively
arrive at the age of 21 years and should any of my said children die
before they arrive at the said age of 21 years then I give and
bequeath the portion of him of her to be equally apportioned among
the remaining children and declare this to be my Last Will and
Testament ..... and I do hereby authorise and empower THOMAS DENNIS
PEACOCK, WILLIAM HARKER the younger and JOHN BURTON .... to pay any
sum or sums of money to the purpose of educating or placing out in
the world all or any of my said children .... and I declare that the
said THOMAS DENNIS PEACOCK, WILLIAM HARKER the younger and JOHN
BURTON shall charged or chargeable only for such money as they shall
actually receive by virtue of the trusts hereby in them reposed I
constitute and appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my will
in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal 10 December
1828
