In the Name of God Amen the fiffth Day of March Anno Domino  = 1743 :4,  I William Derry of Langham in the County of Rutland

Being in parfect health &  Memory thanks be to  Allmighty God for it first Being penitent & sorry for all my Sins most humbly Desiring for givnes for

the same I commend my sole into ye hands of Allmighty God who gave it me and My Body I comend to ye Earth To be Decently Buried at ye Discrition of My Executrix hear After named And for the settling of my temporl Estate And such goods chattles and debts as it hath pleased God to Be stow upon me I do Order give and Dispose the same in form following that is to Say : Imprimis I give and bequeath to my Son Thomas Derry ye Sum of one pound one Shilling And to my son William Derry ye sum of One pound One shilling of Good & Lawfull money to be paid by my Executrix And I here by Make and Apoint my Loving Wife
