The Will of Henry Dean

 

In the Name of God Amen I Henry Dean of Red Cross Street in the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surry Bricklayer being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding but being weak in health and mindful of my Mortality do make this my last Will and Testamt of and concerning the Real and Personal Estate whereof I am in any way seized or Possessed or which I have power to dispose of ffirst I desire that all my just Debts and ffuneral Expences may be first paid by my Executrix hereinafter named And I do give and devise all my ffreehold Leasehold or Copyhold Houses situate standing and being in the Borough of Southwark aforesaid or within the Clink Liberty within the said Borough together with the Gardens Yards and all Easements Priviledges Advantages Emoluments and Hereditaments thereunto belonging or therewith enjoyed and all other my Real Estates whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear Wife Betty her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever And all Bills Bonds Notes and other Securities on which Monies are in any way due owing and payable to me and all Book and other Debts due and owing to me and all other my Household Goods and ffurniture Plate and Linnen and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I do hereby give leave and bequeath unto my said dear Wife her Executors Administrators and Assigns and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said dear Wife Sole Executrix of this my Will And I do hereby revoke and make Void all former Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last In Witness whereof to this my last Will and Testament  I have put my hand and seal this twelfth day of May in the twelfth Year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord King George the third and in the Year of Our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy two Henry Dean Henry Dean
