The last Will and Testament of me John
Davill of the Town of Monmouth Skinner as follows I Appoint Mr
Thomas Probyn of the Town of Monmouth Tanner Mr James Yarworth
of Saint Dials and Daniel Tregost of Tregurod Esqr my Trustees
to execute this my last Will I bequeath all my Effects (that is
to say) all my Real Estate and Personal or Under whatsoever
Denomination my Effects may be call’d to the entire Management
of my aforesaid Trustees Mr Thos Probyn Mr James Yarworth and
Daniel Tregost Esqr until my Son William Davies Davill Arrives
to the Age of Twenty One Years and then to my said Son and his
Heirs for ever on his Paying his Grand ffather William Davill
Ten Pounds every Quarter of a Year and so to continue so long as
his said Grandfather shall live and on Condition my said Son
should die before he arrives at the Age of Twenty One Years that
my said Trustees do continue on in the same entire Management
and Care of all my Effects as before mention’d during my ffather
William Davill’s life for his use as they shall think fit my
said Trustees to pay all my Debts and when it shall please God
to take my ffather out of this troublesome World for them to pay
or otherwise satisfy his daughter Elizabeth Turner Wife of John
Turner agreeable to a Bond of Performance for certain Sums of
Money which I undertook to perform at my ffather’s decease which
said Bond is now in the Possession of Mr Thos Probyn
ffurthermore on Condition my Son should not live to the Age of
Twenty One Years my ffather also being dead I bequeath all my
Estate and Effects to my first Cousin William Probyn Son of Mr
John Probyn Skinner on his Paying the following Legacies
To Elizabeth Turner Wife of John Turner
one shilling
To her Son my Nephew John Turner three
Hundred Pounds
To my first Cousins the Issue of my Uncle
and Aunt Nicholas Two Hundred Pounds and to be equally divided
between them by my Trustees
To my Aunt Cox fifty Pounds
To my first Cousin John Davill the Son of
John and Elizabeth Davill Two Hundred Pounds
To my Brother in Law George Vaughan fifty
Pounds
To each of my Trustees fifty Pounds
And on Condition my Cousin William Probyn
do not live to fulfil this my Will I bequeath my whole Estate
and Effects amongst my first Cousins his Sisters to be equally
divided between them by my Trustees they my Cousins to pay the
Legacies as before mentioned In Witness I have Signed my hand
and Seal this Eighteenth Day of May One thousand seven hundred
