The Will of William Davile

In the name of God, amen, I William Davile of Scorton in the county of York, Gentleman, being of perfect mind and memory, blessings be to God, do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. Firstly I revoke all former wills

I give and bequeath to my daughter ELIZABETH DAVILE to her heirs and assigns forever all my messuages, lands, tenements and hereditaments whatsoever within the Kingdom of Great Britain upon condition that she pay my debts, legacies and funeral expenses, and I do likewise give unto my said daughter my personal estate whatsoever and I do make her my sole executor.

I give to my son WILLIAM DAVILE the sum of one hundred and fifty pounds to be paid by my said executrix 12 months after my decease, I hereby charge my real and personal estate with this legacy,
