This is the last Will and Testament of me Joseph William Dakin of Handsworth in the County of Stafford Gentleman ffirst I desire all my just debts ffuneral and testamentary expences to be fully paid and satisfied and I nominate and appoint ffrancis Hunter of the Borough of Tamworth in the Counties of Warwick and Stafford Painter sole Executor of this my last will and Testament I give and bequeath the several legacies following that is to say to Elizabeth Reynolds the Wife of John Turville Reynolds Gentleman the Gold Watch lately worn by my poor dear Wife deceased and the sum of five pounds for the purchase of a Gold Ring as a token of my esteem to Elizabeth Jane Reynolds and Ann Reynolds the two daughters of the said Elizabeth Reynolds the sum of five pounds apiece for the purchase of a Gold Ring each as a token of my esteem to the said ffrancis Hunter my Gold Watch and Chain To my Aunt Elizabeth Southam the sum of one hundred pounds for her own absolute use and benefit in case she shall be living at my decease but if she shall be then dead I give and bequeath the same to Ann Hunter the Wife of the said ffrancis Hunter for her own absolute use and benefit and I give and bequeath all my household Goods and furniture Pictures books plate linen and china unto the said Ann Hunter for her own absolute use and benefit and as to all the residue of my real and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever situate which may belong to me at my decease I give devise and bequeath the same in manner following that is to say as to one third part or share thereof I give devise the same to Mary Ann Westrope the Wife of Cordwell Westrope of Hertford Grocer her heirs executors administrators and assigns for her own absolute use and benefit and as to the two remaining third part or shares thereof I give devise and bequeath the same to the said Ann Hunter her heirs executors administrators and assigns for her own absolute use and benefit In Witness whereof I have at the foot of this my last Will and Testament set my hand this fifteenth day of May one thousand eight hundred and forty seven Joseph w Dakin
