In the name of
God Amen I Felix Curtis of Kilmore in the Parish of Kilmore
and vivid memory and judgement do make this my last will and
testament in manner following, disallowing and revoking all former
wills up to the present date, viz, First I command that my body be
interred in a respectable and Christianlike manner and that the
expenses of same be paid out of my money in the Armagh Saving Bank.
To my well beloved wife Mary Curtis seven pounds sterlg, and that
she be supported during her natural life by which ever of my sons
who holds and resides in my place in Kilmore, to my son John Curtis
seven pounds sterlg and if he requires it to be sent to him in
America. To my daughter Margaret Curtis seven pounds sterlg and if
she requires it to be sent to her in America, To my son Phelix
Curtis seven pounds sterlg to be sent to him in America and to to my
son Henry Curtis “four pound sterlg likewise” I leave my place and
all my chattels as they now already stand. I leave to my
eligetamate daughter Mary Curtis or Doyl five pounds sterlg, to my
eligetamate daughter Ann Curtis or Herse one pound sterlg. I leave
to James Kiggan my prentice one pound ten shillings sterlg. I leave
to Mary McCann four pounds sterlg for her services to me in my
illness, I nominate and appoint Andrew McCann of Lugancott and
Arthur McCann of Castlerow executors to this my last will and
testament in witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal
this this seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and fifty-two.
