The Will of Sarah Crosse

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Sarah Crosse of North Ockendon in the County of Essex Widow I give and bequeath to my son Robert Crosse of Stamford Street in the Parish of Christchurch in the County of Surrey the sum of twenty pounds clear of legacy duty I give and bequeath the Remainder of my property of which I may stand possessed at the time of my decease whether real personal funded or of whatever nature it may be to my two daughters Sarah the Wife of Charles Hall of Brentwood in the County of Essex and Martha the Wife of William Snowden of North Ockendon aforesaid to be divided in equal proportions between the two share and share alike And I appoint the said William Snowden sole Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said Sarah Crosse have to this my Will contained in one sheet of paper affixed my seal and subscribed my name this seventh day of September one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven Sarah Crosse   (Attestation Clause)   Martha Snowden Dartford Kent  _  Elizabeth Snowden Dartford  _  Edward Birkett Upper Stamford Street     Proved at London 18 September 1838   PCC Prob11/1900
