I Ann Cox of Beaminster in the County of Dorset Spinster being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do this eleventh day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my two nieces Ann Russell and Mary Parker Slee Russell the three hundred pounds apiece and to each of them Also I give and bequeath to my four nieces Elizabeth Cox Mary Cox Charlotte Cox and ffanny Cox the sum of one hundred pounds apiece and to each of them ........respective legacies or sums of money I direct be paid in six calendar months next after my decease by my Executrix hereinafter named and all the rest residue and remainder of my goods chattels plate household furniture wearing apparel securities and securities for money and personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever after payment of my debts funeral expences and legacies above by me bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my niece Virtue the Wife of Samuel Cox Esquire I make constitute and appoint whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills and bequests by me at any time heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the day and year first above written _ Ann Cox
