Died 30 Dec 1834 letters of admin to Rachel. Richard Pilkington and Lettice sometimes intermeddled in the personal estate and effects of the deceased which was left unadministered by Richard Pilkington of Preston Gentleman.  


To wife Jinny £10 one week after death, £10 to sister Nanny (m Andrew Lewis 29.11.1802 Kirkham) brother John 12 cal months after death Patent silver watch, to nephew James son of my brother Robert, to John all my clothes Rest to Richard Pilkington of Preston Gentleman and nephew William Mariner of Lytham & niece Lettice Cookson sp. House at Lytham and to nephew William Mariner closes of land at Freckleton, if James deceased left to William his brother son of late brother Robert late brother James` son James and William brother of James 14 equal parts, nephew William James sister Rachel, sister Alice Greaves ad with will Lanc to Rachel COOKSON Lytham sp the niece & a residuary legatee; former grant Consistory Court of Lancaster Feb 2 1836; £20 Lettuce outlived Richard Pilkington and died intestate 1 Apr 1851 (44) William died without proving will Execs Richard Pilkington William Cookson Lettuce Cookson 


Witnesses Joseph Walker Preston Gentleman Wm Smith Book keeper Clayton M Brandreth. Admin granted to Rachel sp of Lytham 27.3.1861
