In the name of God Amen I Joseph Colemer of
The Parish of Wotten Phitzpaine in the County of Dorset Mallster
beinge of a perfect and disposing mind and Memory Thanks be to god
for it. Callinge to mind the uncertainty of this transitory Life and
that all flesh must yeald unto death: Beinge desirous to settle
things in order, do make and ordaine this my Last will and testament
in maner following _ Hereby revoking all former wills and Testaments
by me made att any time _
Ffirst I Bequeath my Soul to Allmighty god my
Maker; and my Body to the Earth to be buryed in a desent and
Christian Maner as my Executor shall think fit _
Item I give to my wife My Bead & all that
belongs to it Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Dare all my goods
that is in her house and my Box and drawers that is in my house
Item I give to John Sharlock my kinsman twenty
three pounds Item I give to John Sharlock my great blew Coat and my
Cane
Item I give to Ann Alford the Bead she lyes on
& what belongs to it and my two Crooks and what belongs to them and
my Round Tabell
Item I give to William Orchard my old Suit of
Cloaths_
Item I give to my Brother Mathew Colemer all
the Rest and Residue of my goods and Chattles debts due to me
whatsoever I give and bequeath to my Brother whome I do Constitute
and Appoynt Sole Executor of this my Last Will and testament in
wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seale this
seventeenth day of September in the yeere of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and thirty to Joseph Colemer
