I John Colegrove of Hooknorton in the County of Oxford Miller declare this
to be my last Will and Testament I give unto my Wife Diana Colegrove during
her life One Annuity or Yearly Rent Charge of twenty pounds to be paid to
her by Equal quarterly payments in each year the first payment to be made at
the expiration of three Calendar Months next after my decease And I charge
the same Annuity on my real Estate hereupon devised to my son Job Colegrove
And I direct and declare that in case the said Annuity or any part thereof
shall be unpaid for the space of twenty one days next, after any of the days
on which the same shall be payable then it shall be lawful for my said Wife
to distrain for the same as Landlords are by Law Authorized to distrain for
rent reserved on Common demises I also bequeath my said Wife such part of my
household furniture plate linen china and glass as shall be necessary and
sufficient for her use in the Occupation of two sitting rooms and one Bed
Room I bequeath the following Legacies namely To my son John Humphris
Colegrove the sum of One hundred pounds To my son William Colegrove the sum
of Seventy Pounds and to my daughters Rachael Colegrove, Mary Ann Colegrove
and Caroline Colegrove the sum of forty pounds each All which Legacies I
direct to be paid within twelve Calendar Months next after my decease I also
bequeath to my said sons John Humphris Colegrove and William Colegrove a
further sum of fifty pounds each to be paid to them within twelve Calendar
Months next after the decease of my said Wife And I subject and Charge all
my real and personal estate with the payment of the said several Legacies
and Subject thereto I devise and bequeath All my real Estate and all the
residue of my personal Estate unto my said son Job Colegrove his Heirs
Executors and Assigns respectively according to the nature and tenure
thereof And I appoint my said son Job Colegrove and my brother Thomas
Colegrove Executors of this my Will In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand this tenth day of April one thousand eight hundred and forty six The
