This is the last Will and Testament of Lewis Cockram of Newton in the Parish of Sandwich in the Isle of Purbeck in the County of Dorset Gentleman made & published this seventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy nine first I give & devise unto Ann my dear and well beloved Wife all that my freehold Estate together with all & singular the rights members privileges advantages & appurts to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining or secured & taken as part parcel or member thereof situate lying and being at Newton aforesaid and commonly called & known by the name of Newton farm to have & to hold the same & every part thereof unto her my said Wife and her assigns for & during the term of her natural life & from & after her decease I give and devise the same & every part thereof unto my son John Cockram his heirs and assigns for ever I also give & bequeath unto my said Wife the use & interest benefit Produce & profit of all & every part of my personal Estate and Effects of every nature or kindsoever or wheresoever for & during the term of her natural life & from & after her decease I give & bequeath the same unto my said son John Cockram and I do nominate constitute & appoint her my said Wife sole Executrix of this my Will In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the said seventh day of april in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy nine Lewis Cockram
