The Will of Isabel Claridge

 

The Will of Isabel Claridge of Banbury in the County of Oxford Widow ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Loving Daughter Ann Claridge all my Cloaths of what sort soever they be And also all my Household Linnen I also give and bequeath unto my Grandson William Claridge and Grand Daughter Margaret Claridge Son and Daughter of my late Son William Claridge deceased the Sum of ffifty Pounds apiece of Lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid unto them at their respective Ages of One and Twenty Years or sooner if my Executrixes hereinafter named or the Survivor of them shall think fit And my Will and Desire is that my Executrixes shall pay Interest after the rate of four pounds for the hundred by the year unto my said Grandson and Grand Daughter for their Legacys until the same shall be respectively paid unto them And that in Case either of them shall dye before he or She shall arrive unto the Age of One and Twenty years or shall have received his or her Legacy That then the Legacy of him or her so dying shall be paid unto the Survivor of them And that in Case both of them shall happen to dye before they attain the age of One and Twenty years without Issue That then the said Legacies of Twenty pounds shall remain in the hands of my Executrixes for their own use All the rest of my Goods Chattells real and personal Estate wtsoever unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto my Loving Daughters Isabel Claridge the said Ann Claridge and Elizabeth Venor the Wife of Henry Venor of Warwick to be equally divided amongst them Share and share alike and I do hereby constituts and appoint them to be Joynt Executrixes of this my last Will and Testament which I do hereby declare to be so and revoke all others by me at any time heretofore made In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal the nineteenth day of August in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fforty one
