This is the last
Will and Testament of me Joseph Clack
of Stanton Harcourt in the County of Oxford that is to say First
I will that my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid and
satisfied. Also I give and devise to my brother John Clack and
Thomas Breakspear in trust all my household goods and furniture
monies securities for money and all my effects whatsoever and
wheresoever To hold the same to and for the proper use and
benefit of my beloved wife and my three children to have a
living jointly together out of the same as long as she continues
unmarried And if she marries then to have no more to do with the
property But it shall be equally divided amongst the children or
the survivor of them when they come of age But my will is that
if my beloved wife Elizabeth Clack shall think well to be
married to another man that she shall have her choice of one bed
bedstead furniture blankets and sheets bolster and pillows and
all thereto belonging And I appoint my said brother John Clack
and Thomas Breakspear Executors of this my last will and
testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made In Witness
whereof I the said Testator Joseph Clack have to this my last
will and testament set my hand and seal this twenty second day
of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
twenty eight

his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his
request and in his presence and sight have subscribed our names
as witnesses thereto

On the 12th August 1839
Administration (with the will annexed) of the goods chattels and
credits of Joseph Clack late of Stanton Harcourt in the county
of Oxford deceased was granted to Elizabeth Pryor (wife of
William Pryor), the natural and lawful Mother next of kin and
the Curatrix or Guardian lawfully assigned to Sarah Clack and
Jane Clack Spinsters Minors the natural lawful and only
surviving children of the said deceased and as such the
surviving residuary legatees on their attaining the age of
twenty one years named in the said Will for the use and benefit
of the said Minors and until one of them shall attain the age of
twenty one years she having been first sworn by Common duly to
administer. John Clack the brother and Thomas Breakspear the
executors and residuary legatees in trust, named in the said
will survived the said deceased but died without having proved
the said will, and the said Elizabeth Pryor, (formerly Clack
widow) the Relict and one of the residuary legatees named in the
said will so long as she should continue unmarried, having
intermarried with the said William Pryor
