This is in the last Will & Testament of me William Bythewood of Wareham in the County of Dorset Woolcomber made the Twenty fourth day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred sixty six and as followeth (that is to say) First I give to my Brother Philip Bythewood my best suit of Apparrel as Coat Wastcoat Breeches shirt hat shoes stockins etc Also I give to my Brothers Philip & Henry Bythewood & my sister Martha Bythewood to each of them the sum of one Guinea Provided my Share of the Profit of my Share of the Effects left me by my Kinsman John Bramble shall amount (all charges deducted) to be more than the sum of forty five Pounds but not otherwise the remainder of my Cloaths I give to my nephew William Bythewood & also half a crown to be delivered to him at the Discretion of my Wife also my Will is that after the death of my wife she do give to one of the family of John Jerram a Gold Ring markt W.B. according to her own Discretion All the rest of my Worldly Substance as my House and household Goods Bills Bonds ready money Book Debts & what may come to me from the Effects of my Cousin John Bramble Deceased I give the same to my loving Wife Jane Bythewood provided that at her death she do give the same according to her Discretion to some of my family (her own Wearing Apparel always excepted) & I do make her my whole & sole Executrix of this my last Will hereby revoking all other Wills by me made In witness whereof I have set my hand & seal the day & year first above written William Bythewood
