I Jane Bythewood wife of Samuel Bythewood of Horsham in the County of Sussex Currier being weak in body but of sound and disposing mind & memory (God be praised for the same) Doe make this to be my last Will & Testament in manner following (that is to say) First and principally I comend my soul unto the Hands of Almighty God my Creator hopeing to be saved and by the mercy of Jesus Christ my Saviour and Redeemer And my body I commit to the Earth to be decently buried according to the discretion of my Executors hereafter named And as concerning my worldly goods I dispose of the same as followeth Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Bythewood my Daughter in Law the sum of twenty pounds to be paid unto her within three months after my decease by my Executor hereafter named Item I give and bequeath unto my nephew John Rose of Billingshurst cordwinder the sum of ffifty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid unto him by my Executor hereafter named within three months after my decease Item I give and bequeath unto my neece Elizabeth Pepulett of Mitcham in the County of Surry the sum of twenty pounds of like lawful money to be paid to her by my executor hereafter named within three months after my decease. Item all the rest and residue of my money goods chattells and personall estate whatsoever after my debts legacies and funerall expenses are paid and discharged I give and bequeath unto my loving husband Samuel Bythewood whom I make sole executor of this my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the two and twentieth Day of June Anno Dm 1710 Jane Bythewood her mark
