The Will of Christopher Bythewood
This is the last Will and Testament of me Christopher Bythewood of Kingston upon Thames in the County of Surrey first and principally I commend my Spirit into the Hands of Almighty God in the hope of pardon for all my sins As to my temporal effects I dispose of them as follows that is to say I do hereby give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Elizabeth Bythewood all those two freehold messuages or tenements Gardens and premises in Heather Street in the Parish of Kingston upon Thames in the County of Surry in the several tenures or occupations of Richard Pepper and James Waites as tenants to me and also all that one freehold messuage or tenement and premises in Sigghill in Kingston aforesaid now in the occupation of ........as tenant to me and also all that copyhold messuage or tenement Garden or premises in Norbiton Street in Kingston aforesaid in my own occupation and that piece of copyhold land the other side of the south wall adjoining the pigeon house and garden back of my dwelling house now in my own occupation in Kingston aforesaid and also seven freehold messuages or tenements Gardens and premises at Collar Makers bridge in the Parish of Thames Ditton now in the several occupations of Brickwood Derehurst Odiham Junr Wheeler Odiham Senior Stockton and Stokes as tenants to me and also the Orchard in the occupation of Wheeler as Tenant to me being separated by a stream of water called the Elye in the parish of Thames Ditton aforesaid And all other estate or estates or any other property that should come to me at any time or any where and after all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences and charges are paid I give unto my wife all the household furniture linen plate china with my moneys book debts and all securitys for moneys of every kind whatsoever and wheresoever I may be possesed of or in any way intitled to at the time of my decease and I do hereby nominate and appoint my said wife my whole and sole Executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills heretofore at any time made In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight Christopher Bythewood
