This is the last Will and Testament of me
Henry Butler of Cookley Green near Watlington in the County of
Oxford Bailiff to the Reverend Charles Edward Ruck Keene but at
present residing at No 48 ffore Street in the City of London which I
do make publish and declare in manner following that is to say
ffirst I direct that all my just debts ffuneral and testamentary
expences be paid and satisfied by my Executors and Executrix
hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease
and as to all my household goods and furniture plate linen and china
ready money and securities for money money in the public stocks or
funds the sum of three hundred pounds lent by me at interest to
Richard Humphreys of How ffarm near Watlington and all interest due
for the same and all other monies due and owing to me and all other
my goods chattels personal estate and effects whatsoever and
wheresoever and of whatsoever nature the same may consist of at the
time of my decease I give and bequeath the same and every part
thereof unto my dear wife Ann Butler to and for her own absolute use
and benefit and I hereby appoint my said Wife Executrix and her
Nephew John Gumm of No 48 ffore Street London aforesaid and William
Betteridge of Watlington aforesaid Grocer Executors of this my Will
which I declare to be my last by which I revoke all others In
Witness whereof I the said Henry Butler have hereunto set my hand
the nineteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and forty three Henry Butler
