I
WILLIAM BURRILL, do, this twenty fourth day of December one thousand
eight hundred and twelve, make my will as follows
To
my daughter MARY the sum of fifteen pounds to be paid 12 months
after my decease
To
my daughter ELIZABETH, the sum of fifteen pounds to be paid 12
months after my decease
To
my granddaughter SARAH, the daughter of my son RICHARD, the sum of
five pounds to be paid to her at the decease of my daughter SARAH,
if she be still living, if not to her children or if she have no
issue to the children of my son Richard share and share alike.
To
my daughter HESTER half a dozen chairs, one clock, one cupboard, one
desk, one tea table, all my pewter, one little brass kettle, half a
dozen silver teaspoons and one bed and bedstead with the linen
belonging to it for her own use and benefit.
To
my daughter Sarah the bed with its appurtenances where she now
sleeps, two armchairs and one desk.
To
my son THOMAS one dresser and one round table
To
my son WILLIAM one silver cup.
The
tuition and custody of my daughter Sarah to my sons William and
Richard for the term of her natural life, the interest of all my
money herein bequeathed that they use the said interest for and
towards comfortably clothing and maintaining my said daughter Sarah
for the term of her natural life. Immediately after the death of my
saiad daughter Sarah I bequeasth the residue and remainder of my
estate to be equally divided between my children JOHN, William,
Thomas, Richard, ELLEN,ANN and Hester after payment of my funeral
expenses and debts.
I make my sons William and Richard joint executors
