The Will of Joseph Burrill

 

Joseph Burrill, of Masham in the County of York, Yeoman

 

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife ELIZABETH BURRILL a clear annuity of thirtyfive pounds as long as she remain my widow but if she marry again then it shall cease. The annuity to be paid out of my freehold lands situate at Fearby in the county of York. This annuity is to be in lieu of any dower, however if she should claim any dower then the annuity is to cease.

I give and bequeath to Elizabeth, my said wife during the term she remain my widow the use of the whole of my household goods.

I give and bequeath to my son the Revd JOSEPH BURRILL , his heirs and executors all the residue and remainder of my estate whatsoever.

I make my son Joseph Burrill executor
