I
JOHN BURRILL of Longside in the township of Fountains earth in the
county of York, yeoman this twenty eight day of April in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen do make ,
publish and declare this my last will and testament in form
following.
First I give and bequeath to my dear wife ELIZABETH BURRILL what
part of my household furniture she shall think fit for her needs and
personal use. Also I will and order that all my just debts, funeral
expenses and the expenses of proving this my will and testament
shall be paid by my executor out of the surplus and profits of my
estate at Longside.
I
also give and bequeath to my dear wife Elizabeth the clear annual
rent of thirteen pounds payable yearly as long as she remain my
widow but if she should marry then it is to stop.
I
give and bequeath to my daughter MARY the wife of MARK ATKINSON the
sum of two hundred and sixty pounds to be paid to her when my son
JOHN BURRILL shall attain the age of twenty one, by my said son ut
of my estate at Longside.
I
give and bequeath to my son John Burrill all my freehold estate at
Longside to have and to hold to him, his heirs and his assigns
subject to the payment of the above payments. As my son John Burrill
is under twenty one I appoint my brothers THOMAS BURRILL and RICHARD
BURRILL executors in trust and guardians of my son John Burrill
during his minority. All the rest and residue of my estate and
effects I give to my two brothers Richard Burrill and Thomas Burrill
in trust for my son John.
I
order that my two aforesaid brothers shall have reasonable expenses
.
