In the Name of God Amen I Joseph Bromley of
the High Street in the Borough of Southwark in the Parish of Saint
George the Martyr in the County of Surry Chymist being of sound Mind
memory and understanding thanks be to Almighty God for the same and
considering the Uncertainty of Life in this World do in order to
avoid all disputes which may arise concerning my Effects after my
decease make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form
following that is to say In the first place I desire that all my
just Debts and ffuneral Expences be fully paid and satisfied by my
Executrix hereinafter named I then give devise and bequeath unto my
Dear and loving Wife Sarah Bromley all and every my Estate and
Effects whatsoever and wheresoever whether real or Personal or of
what nature or kind soever that I shall be possessed of interested
in or entitled unto at the time of my decease To hold the same and
every part or parcel thereof unto her my said Wife her Heirs and
Assigns for ever and I do hereby make ordain constitute and appoint
the said Sarah Bromley sole Executrix of this my Will hereby
revoking and making void all former and other Will and Wills by ne
at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last
Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Joseph Bromley have
hereunto set my hand and Seal this ninth day of November one
thousand seven hundred and eighty eight Joseph Bromley
