In the Name of God Amen I EDWARD BRODERICK of Spring End in the parish of Grinton in the County of York yeoman do make this my Last Will and Testament as follows that is to say I will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expences be duly paid and I give and bequeath to my daughter MARY BRODERICK the sum of £100 and the like sum of £100 to my daughter ELLENOR BRODERICK and the like sum of £100 to my daughter NANCEY BRODERICK and the like sum of £100 to my daughter PEGGEY BRODERICK and I direct the said legacies to be paid to them at the ages of 24 years and if any of my said daughters shall die under the age of 24 years I direct that the survivors shall have it equally divided amongst them which was intended for the party so dying and I give and bequeath unto my wife ELIZABETH BRODERICK all my household goods and furniture that I am now possessed of at the time of my decease and all the residue and remainder of my goods and chattels and personal estate whatsoever I give and bequeath unto my son JAMES BRODERICK whom I hereby constitute and appoint my sole executor of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made In witness whereof I hereby have set my hand and seal this 6 May 1772.
