This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Britten of Suffolk Lane in the City of London Merchant sound mind and memory blessed be God for all his infinite mercies I give and devise and bequeath the whole of the property of which I may die possessed or entitled to my book debts effects and money in trade Bank stock East India stock imperial and Rock shares policies of assurance on my own life and other houses and lands at fforest Hill and my property of every kind and sort whatsoever as well real and personal unto my own dear and faithful Wife Anne Britten to and for her own use and benefit and to her heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever being well satisfied that her use of it while living and her ultimate disposal of it when she dies will be consistent with the uprightness of her mind and the correctness of her understanding and I hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Anne Britten together with my old and dear friend Jeremiah Olive Executrix and Executor of this my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking all former or other Wills and Codicils by me at any time heretofore made I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fifteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one Thos Britten
