In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Brewer Widdow of Stoke St Gregory in the County of Somerset being weak of body But of a sound perfect mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this writing to be and contain my last Will and Testament and in manner & form following (which is to say) ffirst I give and bequeath unto my Sons & Daughters Richard Brewer John Brewer Sarah Morris and Mary Cribb the Sum of one shilling each to be paid unto each my aforementioned Sons & Daughters by my Executors herein after mentioned in one Calendar Month next after my decease Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Samuel Brewer all this my dwelling house wherein I now live together with the Garden and its appurtenances thereunto adjoining & belonging d h heirs and assigns for ever Also I give devise and bequeath all this five Acre of Ground the same more or less being part of Woodhill Incloser in Stoke St Gregory aforesaid which I now hold by lease under the Worshipfull Dean & Chapter of Wells during the several lives mentioned thereon unto my Sons and daughter Charles Brewer Thomas & Samuel Brewer and Rachel Brewer equally to be divided between them and to each an equal share as tenants in Common Also I give devise and bequeath all that seven acres of Meadow Ground called Dare Mead together with the Allotment of Ground in Stanmore being of Stanmore Incloser belonging thereunto situate in Stoke St Gregory aforesaid which I now hold by Coppy of Court Roll under the said Worshipful the Dean & Chapter of Wells and during the lives mentioned thereon with its appurtenances thereunto belonging unto my aforesaid Sons and Daughter Charles Brewer Thomas Brewer Samuel Brewer and Rachel Brewer equally to be divided and to each an equal share as tenants in common & not as joint tenants Also all the Residue of all my Goods Chattels Rights & Credits whatsoever after Payment of my just debts legacies & funeral expences I give and bequeath unto my aforementioned Sons & Daughter Charles Brewer Thomas Brewer Samuel Brewer & Rachel Brewer and to each an equal share Also I appoint my aforementioned Sons & Daughter Charles Brewer Thomas Brewer Samuel Brewer & Rachel Brewer joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal te %the day of May 1817 The Mark X and Seal of Sarah Brewer
