The Will of James Brayne (1770 – 1840)

 

 

 This is the last Will and Testament of me James Brayne of Alcester in the County of Warwick Gentleman. I give and bequeath all my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature of kind soever the same may be (subject to the payment of my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses) unto Henry Robert Brayne whom I hereby appoint Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine - James Brayne – Signed sealed and published and declared by James Brayne the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto severally subscribed our names as Witnesses - Robt. Brayne William Watts.

 

Proved at London 2nd July 1840 before the Judge by the Oath of Henry Robert Brayne the son the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted having been sworn (by Commission) only to administer.
