This is the Last Will and Testament of me
Richard Blythman of Crakehall made the eighth day of March one
thousand eight hundred and thirty. I give and bequeath all my
Clothes and Wearing Apparel equally between two brothers John
and George. I give my Watch and seals to my sister Mary. I
bequeath to Elizabeth Holines and Elizabeth Pitt both of
Crakehall aforesaid one sovereign which Legacies I direct to be
paid by my Executor hereinafter named within six Months after my
decease. I give and <…> all that my Messuage Cottage or Tenement
Hereditaments and Premises situate at Gateshead Fell in the
County of Durham unto and to the use of my brother John, his
Heirs and Assigns for ever subject and chargeable nevertheless
with the payment of the sum of seventeen pounds apiece to my
brother George and my sisters Mary and Margaret which I do
hereby bequeath to them respectively and I direct the same to be
paid to them within six Months after my decease. ALL THE REST,
residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects
whatsoever and whensoever I give and bequeath unto Henry Percy
Pulleine of Crakehall aforesaid Esqr in Trust nevertheless
(after the payment of my just debts Funeral and Testamentary
Expences) to pay and divide the same as soon as conveniently may
be after my decease unto and equally amongst my brothers John
and George and my sisters Mary and Margaret. I nominate and
appoint the said Henry Percy Pulleine sole Executor of this my
last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I do hereunto set my
hand and seal the day and year first herein written - R.
Blythman. Signed sealed published and declared by the said
Testator Richard Blythman as and for his last will and testament
in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in
the presence of each other have subscribed our names as
witnesses Robt Pulleine, Thos Cumming, Jno Hall.
Proved at London 26 May 1830 before the Judge by the Oath of
Henry Percy Pulleine Esquire the sole Executor to whom
Administration was granted being first sworn by commission duly
administered.
