In the Name of God Amen I WILLIAM BLADES of Scruton in the County of York yeoman do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following. I give and bequeath the following legacies to MARTHA FOSTER daughter of my late nephew FOSTER £30 to be paid six months after my decease. To my daughter FRANCES wife of ROBERT DAVYE £20 to be paid to her at £2 10s per annum till the same shall be fully paid but if she happen to dye before compleat payment is made then so much as shall be unpaid I give to her children share and share alike. To the children of my son in law DANIEL FRAZER (except WILLIAM FRAZER)  I give £10 to be equally divided amongst them with a discretionary power of my executor hereafter named to pay them respectively the same sum in equal shares ... To my daughter ELIZABETH WHITE £5 , to my son JAMES BLADES £5 both to be paid within six months after my decease. I give and devise unto my grandson JOSEPH BLADES son of the said FRANCES DAVYE all that messuage tenement or dwelling house with garth and all the rest of my estate at Scruton ..... to the use of the said JOSEPH BLADES for ever subject only to the payment of all the above legacies my debts and funeral expences and I do appoint the said JOSEPH BLADES as sole executor.
