In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Bishop of Mincing Lane in the City of London Batchelor being weak of Body but of sound and disposing Mind memory and understanding Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say In the ffirst place I desire that I may be buried in a decent manner and that I may be interred at Boughton in Kent and as near to the Place of my good friends & Mrs Burton as may be thought convenient And I direct that my ffuneral Expences and the Charges of proving this my Will be paid & satisfied by my Executor herein after named I Give & bequeath to my dear Mother Ann Bishop for her natural life the Interest of ffour hundred Pounds of lawful Money of Great Britain and after her decease the Principal ffour hundred Pounds of lawful Money to my Brother Benjamin Bishop for his sole use which is part of my now Stock of six hundred Pounds 5 PCt of 1797 bank of England I also Give & bequeath to my good friend Mr Thomas Burton of Mile End Road County Middx all the Effects whatsoever and wheresoever Real and Personal I Give dispose and bequeath the same to the aforesaid Thos Burton for his own use and disposal whom I appoint my sole Executor And I hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said Thos Burton Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former and other Wills by me heretofore made and declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Bishop have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred Thos Bishop
