This is the
last Will and Testament of me
Elizabeth Bishop of Paradise Row
Stoke Newington in the County of
Middlesex Spinster I desire and it
is my Will upon my decease to be
buried in the same Grave in the
Church Yard of Stoke Newington
Church as my late Brother William
Bishop is buried in I order direct
and will as soon as conveniently may
be after my decease that all my just
debts ffuneral and Testamentary
expences and also the Legacies
hereinafter by this my Will
bequeathed be fully paid and
satisfied I give unto my Niece Sarah
Vezey Bishop my Diamond Ring I give
unto my Niece Ann Cappel formerly
Ann Bishop Daughter of my Nephew
Thomas Bishop my Gold Watch with the
Gold Case to it and all my other
Jewellery and Trinkets I give and
bequeath unto Eliza Bishop Sister of
my Nephew Thomas Bishop and Eliza
Bishop and Ann Cappel formerly Ann
Bishop daughters of my Nephew Thomas
Bishop All my Wearing Apparel Body
Linen and clothes to and for their
own use and benefit equally between
them And also the sum of five Pounds
unto each of them for the Purpose of
buying Mourning with I give unto
each of the following Persons a gold
Ring not to exceed in value the sum
of two Guineas namely to my Brothers
Vezey Bishop and his Wife and George
Bishop and his Wife and to ffrances
Ann Maddox I give unto my Sister Ann
Bishop to and for her life only the
use and benefit of all my Household
ffurniture Plate China Glass and
Books and after her decease I will
and direct that the same shall be
sold by Public Auction and the money
to arise therefrom shall be equally
divided between Eliza Bishop Sister
of my Nephew Thomas Bishop and Eliza
Bishop and Ann Cappel daughters of
my said Nephew Thomas Bishop I give
unto my Sister Ann Bishop for and
during her life only All that my one
fourth part or share of and in all
that Leasehold Estate situate lying
and being in Camden Row in the
Parish of Camberwell in the County
of Surrey which was bequeathed to me
by the Will of my late ffather
together with the Rents Issues and
Profits of the same Premises for and
during the remainder of the years to
come and unexpired of and in the
same Premises And all my Estates
Right Title and Interest therein and
immediately after the decease of my
said Sister Ann Bishop I will and
direct that the said Leasehold
Estate with Issues and Profits and
Property shall fall into and become
Part of the Residue of my Property
bequeathed by Residuary Clause in
this my Will hereinafter contained I
give unto my Brother George Bishop
for his trouble as Executor to this
my Will as by me hereinafter
appointed the sum of fifty pounds
which I will he shall receive as
soon as convenient after my decease
there shall be paid to Eliza Bishop
Sister of my Nephew Thomas Bishop
and Eliza Bishop daughter of my said
Nephew Thomas Bishop each the sum of
one hundred pounds three per cent
Consolidated Bank Annuities now
standing in my name in the Books of
the Governor and Company of the Bank
of England to and for their own sole
use and benefit and after payment of
the said several bequests herein
before mentioned I give and bequeath
All the Rest residue and remainder
of my property of what nature or
kind soever unto and equally between
and amongst William Vezey Bishop and
Sarah Vezey Bishop Children of my
Brother Vezey Bishop and Eliza
Bishop Sister of my Nephew Thomas
Bishop and Eliza Bishop and Ann
Cappel formerly Ann Bishop daughters
of my said Nephew Thomas Bishop
share and share alike to one for
their sole use and benefit And
hereby revoking all former and other
Wills by me made I declare this to
be my last Will and Testament and I
appoint my Brother George Bishop of
Hoxton Town in the Parish of saint
Leonards Shoreditch in the County of
Middlesex and ffrances Ann Maddox of
Church Street Stoke Newington in the
said County of Middlesex my Executor
and Executrix In Witness whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name and
set and affixed my seal this third
day of December one thousand eight
