This is the last Will and
Testament of me Elizabeth Beynon of the Town of
Builth in the County of Brecon Widow and Relict
of the Reverend Henry Beynon late of the Parish
of Llanafanfawr in the said County of Brecon
Clerk deceased I give and devise unto my unto my
Son David Beynon and his heirs for and during
the term of the natural life of my Daughter
Esther Price the Wife of the Reverend John Price
Clerk one undivided fourth part or share of the
whole into four equal parts or shares to be
divided of and in all and singular my messuages
tenements farms Lands hereditaments and real
Estate whatsoever and wheresoever In trust
nevertheless that my said Son David Beynon and
his heirs do and shall receive and take the
rents issues and profits of such fourth part or
share and pay the same unto my said Daughter
Esther Price or suffer the same to be received
by her to and for her own use and benefit free
from the Controul debts or engagement of her
said present or any future husband And so that
the receipt of my said daughter alone for money
to be paid to her under the provisions of this
my Will shall be a sufficient discharge to the
person or persons paying the same and from and
immediately after the decease of my said
Daughter Esther Price I give and devise the said
fourth part or share of and in the said
hereditaments and real Estate unto the Child or
Children of my said daughter or the issue of any
such child or children as my said daughter
notwithstanding her present or any future
Coverture shall in or by any deed or deeds
instrument or instruments in writing to be
sealed and delivered by her in the Presence of
and Attested by two or more credible Witnesses
or by her last Will and Testament in writing or
any Codicil or Codicils thereto or any writing
in the nature of her last Will and Testament or
of a Codicil thereto to be executed by her in
the Presence of and Attested by two or more
credible Witnesses direct limit or appoint give
or devise the same and for want of or in default
of such direction limitation or appointment gift
or devise by my said daughter And subject
thereto then from and immediately after the
decease of my said daughter I give and devise
the said undivided fourth part or share of and
in the said hereditaments and real Estate unto
the Children if only one and if more than one
then unto and amongst all and every the Children
of my said Daughter that shall be living at her
decease and the issue of any child or Children
that shall then be dead share and share alike
and to their respective heirs and Assigns for
ever as tenants in Common and not as joint
tenants (the issue to take only the share or
shares his her or their deceased Parent or
Parents would have been entitled to if
living)but in case there shall be no child or
children or the issue of any Child or Children
of my said daughter living at the time of her
decease Then I give and devise the same unto one
Daughter and to her heirs and Assigns for ever I
give and devise the remaining three undivided
fourth parts or shares of and in the said
messuages tenements ffarms Lands hereditaments
and real Estate unto my two unmarried daughters
Elizabeth and Anne Beynon And to their heirs and
Assigns for ever as tenants in Common and not as
joint tenants I hereby direct my Executor and
Executrixes hereinafter named to pay and
discharge All my just debts as well as my
ffuneral and testamentary expences out of my
personal Estate as soon as conveniently may be
after my decease I give and bequeath unto my
said unmarried daughters the whole of the books
and household goods and ffurniture which I shall
die possessed the same to be enjoyed by them
wholly and without being divided and in the
event of either of them marrying then I give and
bequeath the same to the Survivor to be enjoyed
in the same way And whereas by an Indenture
bearing date on or about the ffifteenth day of
July One thousand eight hundred and thirty one
being the Deed of Settlement made and executed
previous to the marriage of my said daughter
Esther I covenanted with the said John Price his
heirs and assigns that immediately upon my
decease he the said John Price and the said
Esther his then intended Wife should be entitled
to a one fourth part share or proportion of my
Personal Estate and Effects except my household
goods and ffurniture Plate Linen and China for
the purposes in such Settlement set forth And
whereas the said marriage has since been had and
solemnised Now therefore I the said Elizabeth
Beynon in performance of my said Covenant do
hereby give and bequeath one full and equal
undivided fourth part share or proportion of
all and singular my Personal Estate and Effects
(except as aforesaid) unto my Son the said David
Beynon his Executors Administrators and Assigns
Upon trust to lay out the same upon good
security and Pay the annual interest or income
thereof to the said John Price and Esther his
Wife during their joint natural lives and after
the decease of either of them to the Survivor of
them during his or her natural life and from and
immediately after the decease of such Survivor
The Upon Trust to Pay and Apply the Principal of
such fourth share unto and among the Children of
the said Esther Price by the said John Price or
any future husband with whom she may
subsequently marry if more than one share and
share alike but if one Child then to such only
Child and in default of such issue then to pay
the said Principal Sum and the interest or
income thereof unto my said two daughters
Elizabeth and Anne Beynon to be equally divided
between them share and share alike And as to for
and concerning the remaining three portions of
my said Personal Estate and Effects I give and
bequeath the same absolutely between my said two
unmarried daughters Elizabeth and Anne Beynon to
be equally divided between them share and share
alike I hereby nominate and appoint my said Son
David Beynon and such Daughters or Daughter as
shall at the time of my decease be single and
unmarried Executor and Executrixes or Executor
and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
and in case neither of my said daughters shall
be unmarried at the time of my decease then and
in that case I appoint my Son David Beynon Sole
Executor I hereby revoke all former Wills or
Will by me made and declare this alone to be my
last Will and Testament In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and Seal this ninth
day of March in the Year of our Lord one
