This is the last Will and Testament of me
Richard Bevan of the Tything of Whiston in the Parish of Caines
in the County of Worcester made this seventh Day of May one
thousand eight hundred and One Imprimis I give and bequeath to
my dear and loving Wife Sarah Bevan all and every Sum and Sums
of Money I may have or be Possessed of at the time of my decease
the Interest and Produce to be had and received by her for her
life and from and after her decease I give the Interest and
Produce of ffour hundred Pounds Part of my Personal Estate to my
Brother James Bevan of London for and during the term of his
natural life and from and after his decease I give and bequeath
one hundred pounds part of the ffour hundred Pounds to my Nephew
James Bevan of London and the remaining three hundred pounds to
my Nephews and Niece my late Brother Thomas Bevan’s Children
namely Thomas Bevan of Cradley Herefordshire Parish Clerk John
Bevan of Mordeford Herefordshire Labourer Samuel Bevan of
Berkely Gloucestershire Wheelwright Joseph Bevan of London
Taylor and Mary the Wife of formerly Mary Bevan to be
equally divided between them share and share alike and if any or
either of them should chance to die before my said Brother Then
I give the share of him her or them so dying to the Survivors or
Survivor of them I give and bequeath unto Ann Hide from and
after my Wife’s decease ffive hundred Pounds I give and bequeath
my silver Tankard to Richard son of my Nephew George Bevan All
the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels Household
ffurniture Personal estate and Effects not herein before
disposed of I give and bequeath to my loving wife Sarah Bevan
and make her sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
