In the Name of God Amen I Hezekiah Benson of East Moulsey in the County of Surry Gent make this my last Will and Testament as follows Whereas I have surrendered all my Copyhold Estates in East Moulsey aforesaid to the uses to be declared in my last Will Now I do hereby give and devise the same and all my reall Estate in East Moulsey aforesaid unto Edward Wrench of London Stationer and his Heirs To the use of him and his Heirs on the severall Trusts and to the severall Purposes herein after mentioned (that is to say) In Trust that the said Trustee and his Heirs shall permit and suffer my son James Benson to have and receive out of the said Premises during his naturall life one Annuity or yearly summe of ten pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain by two equal halfe yearly payments out of the several feasts of the Annunciation of the blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Michael the Archangel the first of the said payments to begin and be made at the first of the said ffeasts which shall next follow after his arrival into Great Britain after my decease which Annuity I give to him charged on all the said Premises with power to enter and distreyne and the distresses to sell and pay himself in case the said Annuity or any part thereof be behind or unpaid by the space of forty days next after either of the said ffeasts and demands made thereof and also upon this further Trust that the said Trustee and his Heirs shall permit and suffer my late Wife’s Niece Letitia Manley to have and receive out of the said Estates during her natural life one other annuity or yearly summe of five pounds of like money which Annuity I give to her charged on the said Estates Payable half yearly by equall portions at the ffeasts above said, and to begin at the first of the ffeasts which shall next follow after my decease with like power of distress and sale if unpaid by the like space of forty days after either of the said ffeasts and demands made thereof as aforesaid Provided that at the time of such first payment she do at the request and charge of my Executrix give her a receipt in full of all other demands she hath on me and my Estate and, in case of her refusall so to doe then I revoke and make void the said bequest of the said annuity given to her as aforesaid And afterwards and subject to the said annuities In further Trust that the said Edward Wrench and his Heirs shall permit and suffer my daughter Mary Popjoy Widow to have and receive the rents and profits of the said estates during her naturall life for her own use and benefit and from and after her decease but subject to the said annuity given to the said Letitia Manley in Trust that the said Estates go to and be enjoyed by my said son James Benson and his Heirs for ever Item my further Will is that my Leasehold Estate in East Moulsey aforesaid shall during the Term therein goe with and be enjoyed with my said other Estates And also my Bedds beddings furniture of Houses household Goods Pewter Brass Coppers Wooden Vessells China Ware and other Goods and things in and about my severall houses in East Moulsey aforesaid at the time of my decease shall be and remain fixtures in the same and shall not be removed or sold by my Executrix from the said houses But goe with them to my son if he survives his Sister all the rest of my personall Estate I give to my said Daughter whom I make Executrix of this my Will In Witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred thirty and five
