This is the last Will and Testament of me James Bennell of Arundel in the County of Sussex Gentleman (late Comptroller of her Majesty's Customs at the Port of Arundel in the County of Sussex) whereby I recommend my soul to God and intend to dispose of my worldly Estate and Effects in manner following that is to say I direct my just debts and funeral and testamentary expences to be paid out of my Personal Estate I give devise and bequeath all my real and Personal Estates of whatsoever nature or tenure the same may be and wheresoever situate unto my dear Wife Mary Bennell and my dear Daughter Mary Bennell their heirs executors and administrators as joint tenants subject nevertheless to the proviso hereinafter contained that is to say Provided Always that in case my said Wife shall marry again during the lifetime of my said Daughter then I will order and direct that during the joint lives of her and my said Daughter she my said Wife shall only be entitled to have and receive for her own use and benefit the annual Rents and profits of my Freehold Estate called Harves Bottom situate in the Parish of Radnidge in the Count of Bucks and also of my Estate called Woodhouse situate in the parish of Crowell in the County of Oxford I make nominate and appoint my said Wife and Daughter Executrixes of this my Will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this tenth day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and forty three James Bennell
