This is the Last Will and Testament of WILLIAM
BEARPARK of the parish of Ainderby Steeple in the County of York
butcher made 1 July 1832 . I give and devise and bequeath unto my
wife DOROTHY BEARPARK all those my freehold dwelling house weavers
shop garden and appurtenances situate at Ainderby Steeple now in my
own occupation to hold and enjoy the same for and during the term of
her natural life or so long as she shall continue my widow ... and
from and immediately after her decease or when she shall cease to be
my widow I give and devise the said dwelling house weavers shop and
gardens .. unto CUTHBERT BARNETT of Ainderby Steeple and THOMAS
PARNABY of Hartforth in the parish of Gilling ... In Trust with full
power and absolute authority to grant alien sell convey and assure
the same ... as to the due application of such purchase money I give
and bequeath unto my said wife DOROTHY all my household goods and
wearing apparell and after all my debts funeral and other necessary
expences are paid I give and bequeath all the rest and residue to
CUTHBERT BARNETT and THOMAS PARNABY in Trust that as soon as may be
after my decease shall convert such part thereof as does not consist
of money into money and place the same as well as any other monies
belonging to me ... at interest ... and the interest arising
therefrom to receive In Trust and pay over to my wife DOROTHY for
and during the term of her natural life.... and at the death of my
wife or when she shall cease to be my widow my mind is that my
Trustees shall sell the said dwelling house weavers shop and garden
and divide all monies and money from the sale ... among such of my
children and reputed children as shall be then living that is to say
my son RICHARD BEARPARK and my daughter SARAH BEARPARK and my two
reputed sons HENRY PARNABY and WILLIAM PARNABY and my reputed
daughter THOMASIN PARNABY share and share alike at the age of 21
years but if at the death of my wife any of the said children should
not have attained 21 years ... the interest of their shares be
applied to their maintenance till they be 21 years But should it
happen that any of my children die leaving issue previous to the
death of my said wife ... the issue shall be entitled the share of
the deceased Parents. And I hereby constitute and appoint CUTHBERT
BARNETT and THOMAS PARNABY executors in trust of this my Last Will
and Testament revoking and making void every other will by me before
made In witness whereof I have hereby set my hand and seal the 1
July 1832
