The Will of Robert Barfoot

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Robert Barfoot of Husbands Bosworth in the County of Leicester Butcher first I do hereby will order and direct that all my just Debts ffuneral Expences and the Charge of the Probate of this my Will shall be paid and discharged by my Executrix hereinafter named out of my Personal Estate and Effects and then I give and bequeath unto my Wifes two Nieces Amy Everitt of Maidwell in the County of Northampton and Ann Everitt of Tingwick in the County of Buckingham Spinsters the Sums of fifty Pounds apiece at their attaining their respective Ages of Twenty one Years And all the rest residue & remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality whatsoever both Real and Personal I give devise and bequeath the same unto my dear Wife Amy Barfoot her Heirs Executors Admors and Assigns for Ever And I do hereby nominate constitute & appoint my said dear Wife Amy Barfoot sole Executrix of this my Will And lastly I do hereby revoke all former Will or Wills by me made at anytime heretofore made & I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Robert Barfoot have hereunto set my hand and Seal this third day of June in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and five   Robt Barfoot

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Robert Barfoot as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us and in the sight and presence of each other

Whereas I Robert Barfoot of Husbands Bosworth in the County of Leicester Butcher have by my last Will and Testament bearing Date the third day of June in the Year of our Lord 1805 given & bequeathed unto my Wifes Nieces Amy Everitt of Maidwell in the County of Northampton and Ann Everitt of Tingwick in the County of Buckingham Spinsters the Sums of fifty Pounds apiece at their attaining their respective Ages of Twenty one Years Now I the said Robert Barfoot being intended to alter my said Will in respect to the said Legacies and to make some other Alterations do therefore make this present Writing which I will and direct to be annexed as a Codicil to my said Will and taken as a part thereof And I do hereby revoke the said Legacies by my said Will given to my said Wifes Nieces Amy & Ann Everitt And I give and bequeath twelve Months after the decease of my dear Wife Amy Barfoot unto my four Brothers ffrancis John Thomas and William Barfoot the Sums of fifty Pounds a piece with the benefit of Survivorship in case any of them shall die without leaving lawfull Issue And I do ratify and confirm my said Will every thing except where the same is hereby revoked and altered as aforesaid In Witness whereof I the said Robert Barfoot have hereunto set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of April in the Year of our Lord 1815
