The Will of William Badcock

 

This is ithe last Will and Testament of me WILLIAM BADCOCK of Manchester in the County of Lancaster, Joiner, made and published this twenty-seventh day of January - in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty seven.
First I order and direct that all my just debts funeral and testimentery expenses shall be paid and discharged by my Executor herinafter named.
I give, devise and bequeath all and singular, my furniture, stock, utensils, money, securities for money, and other, my estate property and effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever of which I may be possessed of at the time of my decease unto my wife ELIZABETH, her executors, administrators and assigns absolutely.
And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my Will. And hereby revoking and making void all former, and other Will and Wills by me at any time heretofore made. I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said WILLIAM BADCOCK the Testator have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.
Signed, sealed, published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses.

The Twenty ninth day of April, 1837.
Elizabeth Badcock the sole executrix in this Will named has sworn in common form and she further made oath that the personal estate and effects of the Testator within the Diocese of Cheshire, were under the value of One Hundred pounds, before me, J. Piccope, Surrogate.
The testator died the First day of February, 1837
