The Will of Thomas Avern
Know all Men by these presants that I Thomas Avern
Senr of No 44 Paradise Street Birmingham in the County of Warwick being
of sound mind do make this my last Will and Testament in Manner
Following that is to say After all my just Debts and Funerall Expences
is paid; I give to my Dear Wife Elizabeth Avern, during her Naturall
Life, the Use of all my Household Furniture Shop Tools and Trade
together With All Debts Due to me And Every species of property
whatsoever belonging to me, And at her death it is my Will that my Sons
Edward & William Avern should if it be their wish, for their benifit and
in Consiquence of their Family take possession of my Shop Tools & Trade,
they giving to my son Thomas Avern , the sum of Ten pounds Each as a
remuneration for their share; provided always that if it should be the
longer liver my Sons Edward & William take possession (as discribed
above at their mother’s Death) subject to the same Conditions; and the
remaining part of my property to be sold and the produce thereof to be
equally Divided, share and share alike, And I do further appoint my Dear
Wife Elizabeth Avern Executrix to this my Last Will & Testament
