In the Name of God Amen I Mary Avarn Wife of
John Avarn of the Parish of Tooting in the County of Surry being of
sound & disposing mind & memory do make this my last Will &
Testament in manner & form following (that is to say) I give &
bequeath to my dear & loving husband John Avarn aforesaid all that
piece or parcel of Land containing by estimation 50 roods be the
same more or less with the Messuage or tenement & premises then
standing & being therewith used situate & being in Pain Street in
the Pawlet of Pain in the parish of Kingston upon Thames & said
County of Surry now let upon Lease to William Chalton & Thos Taylor
Item I Give & bequeath unto my said husband the two acres of Land in
the common field now in the occupation of William Snelling in the
said parish of Kingston upon Thames I Give & bequeath to my said
husband all that Cottage or tenement now in the occupation of Daniel
Milton upon Ham Common in the Parish of Kingston upon Thames & it is
my positive will & request that all the within mentioned Estates at
the death of my said dear Husband John Avarn shall go to John Lason
Son of William Lason of the Parish of Lewisham in the County of Kent
& to his heirs for ever & I do further will & appoint my said
husband my full & sole Exor In Witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand & seal this first day of Novr in the Year of our Lord 1783
