A memorial of the probate of the will of THOMAS AUTON of Hunton in the County of York yeoman. 1 December 1761 whereby the said testator did give and devise unto his brother CHRISTOPHER AUTON of Guildhall near Hackforth in the said County of York yeoman all his messuage lands tenements and hereditaments situate at Hunton with their appurtenances for and during the term of his natural life and from and immeidately after his decease the said testator gave and devised the same to his nephew JOHN AUTON son of the said CHRISTOPHER AUTON and to his heirs and assigns for ever.

Witnesses John Raper of Bedale, Clare Raper the younger of Bedale spinster, William Raper of Bedale gentleman.

And the memorial was registered by John Auton devisee in the said will on the 13 May 1784
