This is the last Will and Testament of me
William Archbell of Nether Poppleton in the County of the City
of York, Yeoman, made this fourth day of February in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty six. I give and
bequeath unto my brother Robert Archbell of York the sum of five
pounds, unto my brother Benjamin Archbell of Healaugh the sum of
ten pounds, unto William Archbell of York (son of my late
brother Thomas Archbell) the sum of five pounds and unto my
sister Mary Watkins of London, Widow, the sum of five pounds.
And subject to and chargeable with the said several legacies
hereinbefore given and bequeathed I give and devise all my
freehold house and garden at Rufforth in the said County of the
City of York and all other my real estate and also all my
personal estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever unto John
Atkinson (son of Elizabeth Atkinson of Nether Poppleton
aforesaid with whom I now reside) and to his heirs executors
administrators and assigns according to the nature of the same
estates respectively and I do hereby revoke all former will is
by me made. And appoint the said John Atkinson sole Executor of
this my Will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal the day and year first above written. William

William Archbell the Testator as and for his last Will and
Testament in the presence of us who at his request in his
presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our
names as witnesses.
