Will – Mary Archbell – 1804 (née Dickinson)

In the name of God Amen this is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Archbell of Healaugh in the County of the City of York, widow, made this nineteenth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four that is to say I give and bequeath all my personal estate and effects of what nature or kind soever to my dear son, Thomas Archbell, of Healaugh aforesaid whom I make constitute and appoint the Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me herebefore made.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written.  Mary Archbell.  Signed sealed and published and declared by the said Mary Archbell the testatrix as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.

Admon – Thomas Archbell – 1805

13 day of July 1805 admon of the goods etc. of Thomas Archbell late of Healaugh in the Diocese of York deceased intestate (as it is asserted) granted to Thomas Archbell his son and one of the next of kin, Mary Mason the wife of Benjamin Mason his daughter and only remaining next of kin having renounced.  He having been first sworn etc before the Rev. George Brown, Clerk Surrogate.
