Annie Appleby of 28
Cambridge Circus Hackney
Road in the County of
Middlesex (spinster)
hereby revoke all wills
and testamentary
dispositions heretofore
made by me and declare
this to be my last will.
I
appoint my brother
William Appleby of 28
Cambridge Circus
aforesaid to be the sole
Executor and Trustee of
this my will.
I
give devise and bequeath
all my real and personal
estate and all my
belongings whatsoever
and wheresoever unto my
son or reputed son Percy
Appleby subject to the
payment of my just debts
funeral and testamentary
expenses.
In
witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand tis
thirty first day of
March one thousand eight
hundred and ninety eight

last will in the

being present at the
same time who at her
request and in her

Annie Appleby
was born 6 Jan
1866 in Bethnal
Green, the
daughter of
Joseph Appleby,
tin plate worker
and Harriet
(maiden surname
Nay).
Annie died on 8
Jul 1891.
Her son Percy
was aged 1 month
at the time of
the 1891 census,
but I have been
unable to locate
a birth or
baptism for him.
By the time of
the 1901 census
Percy was living
with his married
aunt Emily
Horne.
