I David Anwyl of Bala in the County of
Merioneth Gentleman do hereby revoke all former Wills by me made
and declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows I
give and devise my two messuages or dwellinghouses in Bala
aforesaid the one in the occupation of Mr Williams Surgeon and
the other the late residence of my sister and the latter to be
considered in its original state and condition and the rooms
detached therefrom to be fully restored thereto with a square
Plot or Portion of the Yard from or near the division Wall of
Plascock Laundry and also a Garden near the town of Bala called
Carglas Garden as formed out from the ffield so called to have
and to hold the same respectively with their rights privileges
and appurtenances unto and amongst my Younger Children (namely)
Margaret Robert and Mary Elizabeth Anwyl equally to be divided
between them share and share alike to take as tenants in Common
and not as joint Tenants and their several and respective heirs
and assigns for ever Provided always that in case any or either
of my aforesaid Children should be disposed to sell his or her
share of and in the said Premises I direct that the said share
or shares shall be first offered to the others or other of them
at a fair and moderate price to be ascertained by two mutual
friends of their nomination respectively in preference to any
other person or persons whomsoever And as to all and every my
capital and other messuages tenements Lands and hereditaments
whatsoever situate in the Town of Bala and in the several
Parishes of Llanful Llanfaur and Llangower or elsewhere in the
said County of Merioneth with the rights members and
appurtenances thereof subject always to the mortgage
incumbrances now affecting or which shall or at my decease
affect the same or some part or parts thereof and to my Bond &
specially debts exempting as far as I am able to do my personal
estate from the payment thereof or any part thereof in order
that I may dispose of the same as after mentioned I charge and
make chargeable the same Hereditaments and Premises and every
part thereof (last mentioned) with and to the payment of the sum
of two thousand four hundred pounds which I give and bequeath to
and amongst all and every my Younger Children in the shares and
proportions following( that is to say ) six hundred pounds part
thereof to my said Daughter Margaret Anwyl ffour hundred pounds
other part thereof to my Son Griffith Owen Anwyl seven hundred
pounds other part thereof to my Son Robert Anwyl and seven
hundred pounds residue of the said sum of two thousand four
hundred pounds to my said Daughter Mary Elizabeth Anwyl the said
respective shares or proportions to be vested in such younger
Children respectively who shall have attained the age of twenty
one years immediately after my decease and such as shall not
have attained that age as and when they shall respectively
attain the age of twenty one years or die under that age leaving
lawful issue of their respective bodies living at the time of
their respective deceases or which shall last happen immediately
after and to be paid and payable as soon after such..... or
times as conveniently may be but in case any or either of them
should die under the age of twenty one Years and without leaving
lawful issue of his her or their Body or Bodies living at the
time of his her or their decease or respective deceases the
share or shares as well original as accruing of him her or them
so dying shall be for the use and benefit of the survivors or
survivor others or other of them my said Younger Children and I
direct and appoint that the same respective shares or
proportions shall bear interest after the rate of four Pounds
per Centum per Annum from my decease subject and charged in all
respects as aforesaid I leave and devise the said messuages
lands and hereditaments last aforesaid unto and to the use of my
eldest son Rice Owen Anwyl his heirs and assigns for ever I
caution my eldest son in respect to the trust Estates or
Property in trust that will become reposed in him after my
decease and desire him not to intermeddle with them but to
transfer his interest therein respectively to trustees of the
nomination of the parties to be benefitted thereby upon being
properly indemnified in the Promises or otherwise direct into
the Court of Chancery to be disposed of under the direction of
the Honorable Court as he may be advised by Counsel in that
behalf and I desire him not to move without advise which the
said Parties are liable to pay for and all expences attendant on
the said trusts I give and leave all my Law Books and
Manuscripts to my eldest son Rice Owen Anwyl and as to all and
every my Goods and Chattels Debts owing to me monies securities
for money money at my Bankers and all other my Personal estate
of what nature or kind soever (subject to and charged with my
simple Contract Debt or Debts not amounting to specialty and th
expences of proving this my Will in exoneration of my said
Estate so far as I can direct the same) I give and bequeath unto
and amongst my said eldest son and my Younger Children equally
between them share and share alike and lastly I hereby nominate
and appoint my said eldest son Rice Owen Anwyl Executor (in
trust) of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I
the said David Anwyl to this my last Will and Testament
contained in two sheets of Paper affixed together have to the
first sheet thereof set my hand and to the second & last sheet
thereof my hand and seal this nineteenth day of January in the
Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty one _ D.
