I Elizabeth Andrews of
Bampton in the County of Oxford Widow do make publish and
declare this to be my last Will and Testament as follows First
I will that my debts and funeral expenses shall be paid Also
I give and bequeath to my son Robert Andrews all my stock in
trade implements and materials of and belonging to the collar
making business carried on by me in Bampton aforesaid Also I
give and bequeath to my friend Bernard Green of Bampton
aforesaid Gentleman All and singular other my goods chattels and
Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever In trust to sell and
dispose of the same and thereout pay and satisfy my just debts
and funeral expenses and the costs and charges which he may be
put unto in and about the Trusts hereby in him reposed and also
pay the legacy or sum of twenty pounds to my daughter Mary to
whom I hereby give and bequeath the same and after payment
thereof Then In Trust to divide and pay all the residue of the
monies arising from my said goods chattels and Personal Estate
unto and amongst my son William and my daughters Ann Deacon
Charlotte and Mary equally share and share alike to whom I
hereby give and bequeath the same And I do hereby nominate and
appoint the said Bernard Green Executor of this my last Will and
Testament upon the Trusts aforesaid and do revoke all former
Wills by me made In witness whereof I the said Testatrix
Elizabeth Andrews have to this my last Will and Testament set my
hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July In the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and four

her request and in her presence have subscribed our names as

I Elizabeth Andrews of
Bampton in the County of Oxford Widow having made and executed
my last Will and Testament in writing bearing date the twenty
fourth day of July one thousand eight hundred and four Do make
publish and declare this to be a Codicil to my said Will (that
is to say) I give to my daughter Mary all and singular my stock
of grocery and haberdashery goods and wares to and for her own
use and benefit. Also I give and bequeath to my son Robert the
sum of forty pounds to be paid to him by my Executor in my said
will named by and out of the residuum of my goods chattels and
Personal Estate directed by my said Will to be sold and disposed
of In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Andrews have
hereto set my hand and seal this twelfth day of September one
thousand eight hundred and four

This Will with a
Codicil was proved at Oxford on the twenty fourth day of January
in the year of our Lord 1807 before the Revd William Brown Clerk
M A Surrogate of the Revd George Turner Clerk M A Official
Principal of the Revd Archdeacon of Oxford lawfully constituted
by the oaths of William Andrews and Charlotte Seary wife of
William Seary, the son and daughter and two of the residuary
legatees named in the said Will to whom administration with the
Will and Codicil annexed was granted being first sworn duly to
administer Bernard Green the sole Executor named in the said
Will first renouncing.
