In the name of god Amen Upon the 4th day of April in the 33th yeur of o’r Sov’aigne ladye Elizabeth by the grace of god queene of ............& Ireland Defend of the faith 1591 I Richard de Aynswoorth of Newton in Makerfeild In the Countye of Lancaster yeoman Sycke .......... butt of godd & p’fect memorye laud & prayse bee unto Almightie god Do make & aseigne this my p’sente Testament & last will ...... forme followinge  That is to saye firste and above allthings I Commende my Soule to the mercyfull Custodye of my Lorde & Savio’r Jesus Christe Trustinge thouowe his blested passion to made one of the Glost nomber & to reste w’th Abrahame Isacke & Jacob in the kingdom of heaven  And ............... shall please his divin power to seperate my bodye & Soule then I will my bodye bee buryed in my Parishe Churche of Winwyck there to reste untill yt please god to raise it upp in the laste daye & make it gloriouse  And for y distribution of my worldlye things it is my will & mynde to have them bestow in such man’ & forme as heireafter in this p’sente is lymited or declared  And for the better manyfestinge of my saide purpuse & entente heirby I Publishe sett foorth & declare yt heiretofare I have geven granited & assigned all my Intereste & estate my ferme & Tenements in NewtonAforesaide unto John Aynsworthe my oldeste sonne & Elen my wyef Therefore my .. & mynde that she the saide Elen my wyef shall have & enioye the full meoytie & one half of all the saide ferme & tennte’ with their app’ten’nces for and duringe for as many yeare as she shall fortune to lyve yelding and payinge therefore the rente suite and s’vises due for the same portion  And yt the rest & residue of all & singular the saide ferme & ten’nte with apperten’nces together w’th the ren’wi’s & rev’ons thereof when the same shall first and next fortune to fall shall bee remayne & contynue to the saide John Aynsworth my sonne & his Assignes for & duringe all the terme tyme & interests contyned menioned & specified in one indenture of lease made betweene the Right Woorshippfull Thomas Langton Esquier of thone ptye And mee the saide Richard Aynworth of thoth ptye Bearinge date the 8th daye of September the 25th yeire of the reigne of o’r saide Sovraigne Ladye Elizabeth the queenes Ma’tie Aforesaide in as large & ample man’ & forme to ev’rye entente & purposse as I the said Richard or my Assignes might or ought to have & enioye the same by force of the saide Originall lease or oth’r wyese for the rente suite and S’vises herein menioned & Exp’ssed   Item yt is my will & mynde that after my debts payde and funerall expensses p’formed that all & singular my goods Chattells and debts shalbee equally devided into three equall & indifferente p’tes whereof I will 1/3 the saide Elen my weyf shall have one equall p’te to her sole & prop’ use  The seconde equall p’te I geve unto John, Thomas, Jahanne & Elizabeth Aynsworth my Children equallye & indifferently to bee devided Amongeste them  And the third & laste equall p’te & porion of all and Singular my saide goods Cattells & debts I res’ve unto my Executors heirafter named  That is to wytte I geve & bequeth to Alyse Aynswoorth daughter of the said John Aynsworth one heffer with a browne backe  And unto John Nelson al’ Aynswoorth my baeste sonne one huynter heffer  Ite’ I geve & bequeth unto the said John Aynswoorth my sonne the half of all my tymber woodd & boorde (which) I have in Newton Aforesaide & (which) lye & bee out of nesessary use  All the reste & residue of the saide thirde & laste p’te & porion of my saide goods Cattells & debts I geve and bequeth wholly unto the said Jahanne & Elizabeth Aynswoorth my daughters equally to be divided Betweene them  Item I Constitute ordeigne & make the saide John Aynswoorth my sonne and Elen my wyef my true lawfull Executors of this my last will & testamente to execute & p’forme this my p’sent Testamente & laste will as my truste is in them above all others.
